The Solano women’s basketball team bounced back from back-to-back Bay Valley Conference losses with a convincing win over College of Marin in Kentfield.
Sophomore Christen Voyles scored a season-high 26 points to lead the Falcons to an 81-59 victory. She also added six rebounds and three assists.
Cassandra Jones was 4 of 10 from the 3-point line and finished with 17 points. Alex Bader had a solid all-around game with nine points, 10 assists, six rebounds and four steals.
The Falcons led by four after the first quarter, but exploded in the second quarter to give themselves a nice cushion going into halftime. A big fourth quarter put an exclamation point on the victory.
Next up: Solano will earn a forfeit win over Los Medanos, which forfeited the rest of its season just a couple of games into the BVC schedule. The next game will take place on Feb. 3 at Mendocino.
