The Solano women’s basketball team stretched its win streak to 14 games with a 76-48 win over Los Medanos on Friday.
The Falcons finished the first half of Bay Valley Conference play with an 8-0 record and are now 16-4 overall. In addition to the 14-game win streak this season, Solano has won 22 consecutive Bay Valley Conference games, dating back to last season.
Crystal Lee had 13 points, 10 rebounds, three steals, two blocks and an assist for the Falcons against Los Medanos. Solano led 46-23 at the half.
Veronica Morris led Solano with 18 points and added five rebounds while Ivy Jones had 13 points and seven rebounds. Jessica Woods chipped in 10 points, five rebounds, two assists and two steals.
All 11 Falcons scored in the game.
“We didn’t shoot the ball particularly well this game, but our defense, once again, allowed us to pull out the victory,” said Solano coach Matt Borchert.
Solano has a busy week next week, traveling to San Pablo on Monday to take on Contra Costa before hosting Laney on Wednesday and Mendocino on Friday.
