The drama that came with the first day of real sprints was somewhat expected. We had crying, people nearly quitting, collapsing onto the lawn, etc…
The first time you’re really required to physically push yourself is slightly overwhelming. It’s amazing to see the improvement the group has on the second day of sprints, where they somewhat know what to expect and how they’re going to feel. They know they can survive it and suddenly it doesn’t seem so bad.
Jana stepped up and helped a couple who were struggling. She’s been there, knows how to push herself, and was doing her best to get the newcomers through it.
